I’m here to pitch for a 2 hour annual award show

Name of Award: Hidden Gem Award


Description

What will happen is that we would broadcast an international award show which will feature some of the best artists around the world and they will be put on a wide platform in order to showcase their musical talents to a wider audience. The award show will take some of the world’s underground artists and they will be grouped depending on the different types of genres that they specialise in and they will be rated according to a voting system.

This show will also divide the separate different awards depending on whether they’re male or female because of the different qualities that female and male artists possess.

The person that will be hosting the show is the 5 time award winning comedian Hamza Ross and depending on the circumstances the hosts are likely to be interchanged on a yearly basis

Depending on the different types of artists we will be targeting a generally young audience since that’s who the music industry mostly gravitates towards

Venue: Valore Spectra Arena in London

 

Schedule:

•            This will happen at around 6pm – 9pm on a Sunday

•            It will always happen in October

•            The albums and songs entered will have to be released in between November and September

•            The voting system will be directed by twitter and instagram

 

 

 

 Colour scheme:

I have chosen to go with a colder colour scheme instead of the initial golden colour scheme that I went with. The reason I did this was because I wanted to go for a more futuristic aesthetic which I see on projects such as the fifa 16 menu and that really adhered to me because of the positive colours.

Advertising:

 

Our advertising is going to be strongly social media based and we have decided to make use of the platforms instagram and twitter to our full advantage as they offer a variety of features such as doing polls and creating many different immersive ways to interact with our business

 

We will also have a huge platform for Television advertising as this is a tv show but we are also aware of the generation and the audience that we are trying to target and this type of audience is not as tapped into live television as past generations but we will make sure to use the required amount ot advertising to boost our business

 

Venue:

 

The Valore Spectra Arena is one of the most iconic arenas ever seen in london and is going to be the first home to the Emblazon Gem Awards.

We have picked this venue because statistically it was the best, safest and easiest to access venue for this show. The capacity also allows for a great amount of participants
