LO2 2.1 File Formats
WAV: I use this in music as this provides the highest quality sound when exported from softwares. This also largely increases the space the file uses
Mp3: This is the basic file format that is used when providing projects that require sound and that is the format it usually plays in across all platforms. It is lower quality and significantly smaller than a wav file
Jpeg: This is the file that is used for most pictures and does not provide a transparent option. This is the basic picture format across all platforms
Mp4: This is an audio visual format that is used for projects such videos and movies. This is the format these are usually exported in
Gif: a gif is a 7 second clip that is meant to loop and repeat itself and I use this in the background of my music instead of just keeping a standstill background for it.
PSD: This is a photoshop file without exportation and can be sent out to be edited by anyone who has the same software.
A little bit more and images please.
